Hi, I am Ingrid. I am a photographer, journalist, and videographer and I create global culinary stories. I love how food brings together people from all walks of life and I want to tell the stories they would like to share. In the past years I've witnessed that ancient culinary traits and traditions are currently being revived and can teach us something valuable about tomorrow's table setting.
I dined with local coconut farmers in Sri Lanka, tasted cactus in Palm Springs, visited an old Icelandic smoking hut, went foraging with a Michelin chef in the Faroe Islands, had wild boar in a forest near Mount Fuji, roamed the premises of New York's Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and harvested olives in Catalonia.
Working with me means going beyond the plate. I will help pin down the culinary story you want to tell and explore the best way to do that (visual story vs a story that needs both words and images). I will go wherever I'm needed to create a narrative while being in the field. This documentary style of working ensures a pure and honest form of storytelling.
When I'm not traveling, you can find me at home in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I'm open to commercial & editorial projects, both here and abroad.
